How To Be A Child of God

David Howell's book, "How To Be A Child of God", is a comic book style short book all about salvation. This book is very short - only 37 pages, and has a small amount of actual reading to it. The majority of the pages are filled with vivid illustrations. This book reminds me of the religious tracts that my grandmother used to leave on the table at restaurants, only more appealing. The book mainly focuses on the salvation granted to us from God, but also gives a short crash course in Christianity, and how to live as a child of God. I liked the colorful illustrations, which really helped tie it all together, and make it have more of a comic book feel - I think this would especially appeal to middle school and high school children who may be considering becoming Christians. I think this would also be a great way to introduce someone to Christianity, without overwhelming them with principles, and ideals. I would highly recommend this book - I thought it was great!
